Properties: With the relative density of 1.048,boiling point of 257-265℃ and flash point of 126.6℃, it is slightly soluble in benzene, toluene, acetone, ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate and gasoline. It is insoluble in water and dilute sodium hydroxide. It is nontoxic and will gradually deteriorate when exposed to light with using effects affected.
Use: This product is a very important variety among non-pollutant antioxidants and it has a certain protecting effects against the heated oxidation of the natural rubber, and synthetic rubbers such as butyl benzene, butylnitrile etc. It can be applied to the manufacture of white, multi-colored, light, and transparent rubber products (such as rubber shoes and rubber cloth products). It can be easily dispersed in rubber materials. Because of its low toxicity, it can also be applied to the manufacture of pharmaceutical or sanitary products and to food processing.
